Meet Helena

My name is Helena and I'm 11 years old. I come from Poland, more specifically from Podkowa Leśna, a small town near Warsaw. There are lots of trees and bushes there.

A Fair Warning

Before you start reading my blog, ask yourself whether you have time to sit for a billion hours and read what I write. Because I talk a lot. And I like talking. Writing is like talking, but it's funny — I don't know why I don't like writing stories for Polish class. My mom (who teaches me, because I'm homeschooled) says that once I actually start writing a story, I do really well. That's why I'm writing a blog. I'm telling you, read at least my first post.

My Super Interesting Life

I have a super interesting life where a mega lot of stuff happens. My biggest passion is dance, but I also make videos (which I can't post on YouTube yet because I'm too young — heads up, I might put them on this blog), I'm writing a book, and I hang out with my friends.

Lila, Jula, and Ida

My absolute best friends are Lila and Jula. They're twins and they fight each other a lot. Luckily, they're not the same! I also have a sister, Ida. There's a five-year age gap between us. And I beat her up too. But that's probably normal.

The Hole in the Fence

And now, attention… (suspenseful pause)… I live right next to Lila and Jula — just a fence between us! And we even have a hole in it. . I'll be writing as things happen about all the stuff we get up to together. One time we even almost set a plank on fire!
